Jack and Kim Johnson's kokua Hawaii Foundation backyard garden and LEARNINg FARM

Mala Designs proudly collaborated pro bono with Kokua Hawaii Foundation to create an inspiring edible and native landscape that is  a part of the Kokua Hawaii Foundations Learning Farm. This project serves as a community hub where individuals can learn and draw inspiration for household food production and how to incorporate native and canoe plants into  a residential or commercial landscape. Kokua Hawaii Foundation and Mala Designs believe in empowering communities to cultivate their own sustainable practices, fostering a deeper connection to the land and each other.
